Who We Serve | How We're Funded
Though some individuals pay privately for our services, most are enrolled in the Independent Options Waiver, which is funded through Medicaid. In order for an individual to be eligible for the I.O. Waiver, at a minimum, one of the following criteria must apply; they must have a diagnosis of a developmental disability, for instance Mental Retardation, Autism, Down’s Syndrome, or, in the case of Traumatic Brain Injury have suffered the injury prior to the age of 21. To obtain more information on, and how to apply for, the Individual Options Waiver, visit www.odmrdd.state.oh.us, or contact your local County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
