About Us
SupportCare was founded in 1993 with the philosophy that all individuals should live in and be a part of their communities to the fullest extent they choose. It is our goal to support you and provide you with the opportunity to make decisions that impact your daily life, while protecting your health and safety. To this day, all the services we provide are community-based and individual specific. SupportCare currently provides services to approximately 250 individuals living with a variety of developmental, mental and/or physical disabilities. These disabilities include, but are not limited to, Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, Prader-Willi Syndrome. Additionally, we serve individuals with emotional issues and those with Dual-Diagnosis.
We provide quality staff that are well-trained to provide multiple services, which are based on an individual’s needs and wants. All of these services are delivered in the home and within the individual’s community. SupportCare ensures individuals’ health and welfare through assisting with, and providing teaching in, the areas of hygiene, dietary, medication assistance and health management, community access, behavior support, home cleanliness, community access and socialization, money and benefits management, payee services, transportation, and linkage with other community resources.
